What will my gap year contribute?
Each of Lattitude's gap year programmes has been selected and designed to benefit the community or institution where volunteers are based. We recognise that each volunteer is different and will be challenged in different ways and the diversity of our placements reflects that.  For some it is enough to be living away from home, for others the challenge is to work as far off the beaten track as possible in countries most people can't find on a map.  Whatever your choice you can be sure that you will have the most amazing time, make friends for life and come back home full of enthusiasm and love for the country you were placed in.  To ensure the best fit between your talent and potential each volunteer goes through an interview process and is then matched with the most appropriate placement.
